Is the myGP Connect system secure?

The myGP Connect System is very secure.

The ‘Care Messaging Server’ is hosted at a secure data centre within the NHS.net. All internal communications with the ‘Care Messaging Server’ are encrypted. Data transfers between the ‘Care Messaging Server’ and the Network Operator SMSC gateway are via secure VPN.
